Your Mission as a Long-Term Care Attendants

You will be working under the supervision of RNs and LPNs. Your role will play an important roles in each patient’s personalized care plan by ensuring that their physiological, emotional, and social requirements are met while promoting full autonomy.

  • You will be assisting with personal care and activities of daily living.
  • Providing help with mobility, transfers, and related equipment.
  • Executing nursing procedures such as taking temperature, pulse, and respiration.
  • Cleanliness to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Paying attention and reporting changes in patient behavior and scenario.
  • Accompanying clients on activities and communal activities.
  • Carrying out office workers duties and delegated tasks.

Your Qualifications

  • The completion of Grade 10 is required.
    Certification of a recognized Nursing Assistant / Health Care Aide Program or similar education, training, and experience.
  • Registration with the British Columbia Care Aide and Community Health Worker Registry (please provide your valid number).
