Your Responsibilities as a Housekeeping Aide
Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for a Housekeeping Aide to join the Sechelt Hospital team and help ensure a safe and sound environment for every individuals.
- You’ll be performing several kinds of cleaning activities which includes, damp dusting, mopping, and floor cleaning.
- You will be task with using proper equipment for floor cleaning and restoration.
- The job role includes cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces like ceilings, walls, vents, and furniture.
- Managing of daily biological waste collection and disposal.
- Responding to any sort of spill clean-ups as early as possible.’
- You’ll be making sure that that proper bed-making practices have been followed accurately.
- Preserve overall facility cleanliness in accordance with the organization’s standard requirements.
Your Qualifications
- Grade 10 or a similar mix of education, training, and experience.
- The ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written, is desirable.
- Solid interpersonal communication skills are essential.
- Being physically fit and having good health is essential to carry out the role’s duties.
- Proper job management requires knowledge of organization skills.
- Familiarity with related equipment is necessary.
