Your Mission as a Retail Store Leader
As a Retail Store Supervisor, you’re at the forefront of our operations. Your mission is all about ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our valued customers. Your responsibilities include:
- Assigning duties to our dedicated sales team.
- Hiring, training, and supporting our incredible staff.
- Authorizing payments and managing inventory.
- Ordering merchandise to keep our shelves stocked.
- Handling merchandise returns with a smile.
- Creating efficient work schedules.
- Selling merchandise and making our customers’ day.
- Preparing reports on sales, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Keeping our inventory organized and in tip-top shape.
- Resolving issues that arise, like customer concerns and supply shortages.
- Supervising and coordinating the activities of our hardworking employees.
- Leading and supporting your team, from apprentices to stage hands and our design team.
- Conducting performance evaluations to encourage growth.
- Verifying the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
Your Qualifications
- Fluent in the English language.
- High school graduation certificate.
- Ideally, 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the retail industry.
- Ability to supervise 1 to 2 people, including grocery clerks and shelf stockers.
- Accuracy and a client-focused mindset.
- Excellent oral communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Reliability that our team can count on.
- A natural team player who can take the lead.
- Initiative and the ability to multitask.
