Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:

Your job responsibilities as a front desk agent includes the following:

  • Handle guest requests and questions from either the main front desk or our Service Centre.
  • The Front Desk Agents are additionally trained to provide assistance and shift coverage as concierge services for our guests and residents.
  • Answer and transfer calls at the hotel’s main switchboard, take in-room food orders, monitor service times, hotel emergency lines, defect reporting, and serve as the hotel’s central communication hub.
  • Provide notification with various departments, particularly Housekeeping, Front Office, and Engineering, to ensure our guests are well taken care of.
  • Guarantee that any external and internal guest/colleague requests and concerns are answered immediately and professionally via telephone or radio system.
  • Accept ownership of the caller’s request and make sure you follow up in accordance with hotel’s standards
  • Handle and distribute all guest messages, wake-up calls, and incoming faxes.
  • Helping guests with dining reservations, attraction queries, and any other guest activities as necessary.
  • Act as a connection for guests who need information about every aspect of the hotel and attractions.
  • Deliver competent guest service with genuine care for thoughtfulness and expertise.
  • Appropriately complete all specific invoicing requests.
  • You will be responsible for registering guests, setting up payment methods, assigning guest rooms, and welcome them to our hotel.
  • Upgrade and monitor room status changes in conjunction with Housekeeping.
  • Drive rate by promoting room varieties.
  • Validate guest accounts properly while complying to all service standards.
  • Providing support to customers on phone and in person to all guests, while adhering to luxury hotel service standards.
  • Ensure that all hotel reports, VIP visitor profiles, and other guest requests are prepared prior to their arrival.
  • Guarantees compliance with all hotel policies, standards, and core practices.
  • Help in the handling of guest complaints and ensuring that suitable follow-up occurs.
  • Takes on other extra related responsibilities as required.

Your Qualifications

  • Previous expertise in a similar position at another luxury or elite resort brand is appreciated.
  • Previous experience with Micros, Opera, Microsoft Office, and Open Table applications is helpful.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and exceptional administrative, written, and vocal abilities to communicate
  • A competent appearance and attitude.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Capability to operate well under pressure in a fast-paced atmosphere, also focusing on guest needs while remaining cool and pleasant at all times.
  • Willingness to work in a range of shifts, including evenings, mornings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts, as desired.
