The recruiting of additional 2000 eligible teachers has begun, only successful candidates are to report for screening and computer-based tests in accordance with the information released on the recruitment portal.
Only candidates who met the final requirements will be hired to teach in the Borno state primary, junior and secondary schools. During the Borno State Universal Basic Education Board 2023/2024 screening processes, shortlisted candidates whose screening assessments were not up to the recruitment requirements will be disqualified.

Four (4) copies of white background passport photographs
A government-approved means of identification (National ID card, Driver’s license, International Passport, or Voter’s card)
A printout of your online registration submission slip
A certificate of state of origin
Original credentials:
WASSCE, NECO or GCE
TRCN (If any)
Nigeria Certificate in Education, B.Sc., HND or OND certificate
NYSC discharged certificate.
Certificate of birth or age declaration and a writing material including (Biro, Pencil, Ruler and Erase)

The PDF list for the Borno State SUBEB shortlisted candidates for 2023/2024 is not on the recruitment portal. All applicants who applied for the Borno State Universal Basic Education Board recruitment exercise will be notified through email, SMS or on www.bornostate.gov.ng.
However, the Borno SUBEB shortlisted candidate’s PDF list will be released on the Borno State Universal Basic Education Board’s official website. We encouraged all applicants to be patient till the list is published online.
